Is Cossy still Nigeria’s most controversial actress?

This is not a piece put together to celebrate nudity or obscenity. Rather it is to state in emphatic terms that Cossy Orjiakor unarguably remains one of Nigeria’s most talked-about actresses and she is known for a whole lot of things.
Interestingly, from the long list of things she is known for, two have consistently taken centre stage
– First is the size of her boobs and second: what she has consciously chosen to do with them since her emergence in the Nigerian entertainment scene.
Anyone who has ever watched a TV, surfed the internet or read the entertainment pages of a Nigerian newspaper, magazine or website, would find it hard to deny ever coming across Cossy’s images or the brand she represents.
While the size of her boobs and how she flaunts them might be glaring for all to see, the same cannot be said about several parts of Cossy’s life that are not as conspicuous as her controversial features and habits.
This explains why we have put together facts, quotes and things about this controversial actress that many do not know about her.
Her younger sister is a practicing lawyer.
In 2000, she burst into the movie industry via her role in the movie, ‘The Only Nigerian Girl.’ “I just liked the name and I was feeling special then because I was very popular. I was a ‘waka pass’ in the movie but Andy Best ended up putting me on the posters and billboards and I was like Whaoh! I played a half role. It was such a small role that I didn’t even get to talk in the movie but I was everywhere; the posters, boards and everywhere and that was when I became a 100 per cent sure that I would make it in the industry.”
After she teamed up with popular Fuji act Obesere, her level of popularity neared its apex.
In 2010, her reputation was dealt a destructive blow following unconfirmed allegations that she had sexual relations with a canine – a report she vehemently denied. Back then, she had explained that the controversial image was from a movie titled ‘Itohan;’ where she had played the role of a girl whose level of sexual recklessness descended to the level of having sex with a dog.
She resides in her own house in Lekki in Lagos.
She has a 15-track musical album titled ‘Nutty Queen,’ which she plans to promote for two years.
She has openly admitted not being born again.
She doesn’t have a favourite fashion accessory but she loves perfumes.
When she really needs to relax, she goes for a massage.
She studied Accountancy at the University of Nigeria Nsuka and studied Management for her M.B.A.
